Our mission at ForestSEA is to help concentrate minds on the restoration of what is left of these depleted forests so that mankind can continue to benefit from the huge resources of the world's tropical rainforests and so that the local people can once again profit from their homelands. More than that, we are championing the huge advantages of rolling back those forests to at least a portion of their former glory - it is an ambitious plan of regrowth that will provide new refuges for endangered animals of the region.
It goes without saying that the world badly needs these crucial carbon absorbing tropical rainforests to regain their function and to counter the disastrous threat of global warming: mankind cannot survive by turning our green spaces into deserts and mono-culture crops.
ForestSEA has set out to bring all stakeholders together in an atmosphere of harmony, supporting the growing number of regional decision-makers who understand the urgency of reforestation with the purpose of benefiting all concerned.
